While other characters from the previous program struggle with their own issues, he engages in all sorts of nefarious conduct. It’s a serial with cliffhanger-ending episodes, the same as the prior program. And there is no doubt that you’ll want to continue watching. In essence, it is the kind of series that you must watch to believe. There have been criminal dramas and lawyer shows, but they have never been blended so beautifully. The blend of comedy, tragedy, and thriller is ideal. Absolutely go see it.

Finally, one of the most eagerly awaited new TV series of the year—the spinoff of arguably THE most lauded TV program in television history—is arrived. Expectations were obviously sky high, and it was obvious that it would be nearly difficult to live up to them. Here’s the good news, though. The first few episodes suggest that “Better Call Saul” will be a good show. We’ll have to wait and see how excellent it is, but as far as promises go, those initial episodes delivered.

We do, of course, get some of our favorite characters back, but new ones are introduced that promise to be just as original and interesting as the ones that helped make BB into a cult classic. Anyone worried that this would be a rushed production trying to capitalize on BB’s success can relax; the writing, directing, and acting (so far) are on par with BB.

Bob Odenkirk, who is amazing, comes in last. The figure we’ve grown to adore as the sleazy, slick comedy relief in BB began as a somewhat one-dimensional character and comic relief. Better Call Saul’s Saul Goodman has already displayed more facets than he did during his whole tenure on Big Brother. This is only the first half of the season. The actor clearly embraced the chance to showcase his talents as his character charms, squirms, and threatens his way through his parts, but – rather surprise – he also manages to affect you during the more quiet moments. And that’s owing as much to Odenkirk as the wonderful script.

This program takes place before the events shown in “Breaking Bad.” It demonstrates how Jimmy McGill, a con artist turned lawyer, progresses from representing the weak to knowing key figures in New Mexico’s drug trafficking underworld. Numerous additional ‘Breaking Bad’ characters appear, some as prominent characters and others in significant cameos, in addition to Jimmy. Additionally, there are a ton of new characters; I won’t mention which characters belong to which group to avoid giving anything away to people who haven’t seen “Breaking Bad” yet.

I must admit that I had some reservations about this series. I loved ‘Breaking Bad’ and thought Saul Goodman was a fantastic character, but I wasn’t sure whether he could carry a whole series. I shouldn’t have worried. This TV show is excellent. Importantly, it is irrelevant whether or not you have seen “Breaking Bad.” The tale is intriguing, and the characters are fantastic. I’d prefer a tale take its time being told than feel rushed, even if it doesn’t go as quickly as some would want. Bob Odenkirk, Johnathon Banks, and Rhea Seehorn as Jimmy and Mike are among the excellent cast members. The remainder of the actors, including those from “Breaking Bad,” those playing new recurrent characters, and even those in supporting parts, all do well.
